Recyclability is therefore a property that is already taken into account in the vehicle design phase. Before recycling waste, Volkswagen considers whether it is possible to avoid producing waste in the first place. For this reason, the suppliers deliver most components, materials and raw materials in reusable packaging. 95 percent of all production waste is recycled.
